A New Project...

I have had the Swoon pattern for a couple of years 

and 

have been wanting to make a quilt for one of the beds in our house

and 

now that we have moved the time has come to do it...

 so out with my Amy Butler fabrics

the first three blocks

 WOW they are big blocks...

the pattern is for three across and down but...........

I am doing four across... as you know I LOVE my quilts to hang down

each side of the bed...

 AND...

look at this little face...

choccy kisses all around

and his first tooth...

It's Done...

trimming the batting and backing

 adding the binding

 the all over quilting that Leonie has done in a variegated thread...

loving it

 yep its a big quilt

 paisley backing that I got from Spotlight

 the final resting place...

now to finish Jensen's quilt

and

to think about a quilt for the other spare bedroom...

It's Back...

this is back...

 yes my wall fabricing is back from the quilters

so stay tuned...

a group of six ladies including me are doing a

crazy round robin patch...

this is mine and it will be winging it's way to the first lady on Monday

so excited to see what they do to it.
