OH WOW....
I knew that I hadn't posted for sooooooooooo llloooonnnngggg
but
I didn't realise it was THAT long... and a friend told me my blog looks ''lonely'' OOPS...
but
I have been REALLY busy
honest...
with shearing, Easter, birthdays, mustering goats and a 21st to organise
and having the real estate people here for two days...
but
during all of that I was making this
red and grey was the theme and for the party we stuck to that as well...
it is quite big as he is really tall...
the close up of him is one of my favourites...
all I need to do now is finish the quilting and make a bag for it...
the 21st went well... we had it at a bowling club and we had security which is to go now and I don't blame places for insisting on it either...
Dad telling stories...
Big sister telling stories...
other big sister helping little brother out...
they get none of this behaviour from their Mum either...
He did have a very good night and it was so good to see so many friends celebrating with us...
but
I am so glad that is the last 21st for us...
Now that shearing and goat mustering is over I can catch up on
swaps and RAKs and BOM's and fat quarter swaps
I have started one ''belated'' birthday present
these I am turning into mug rugs for my MIL's birthday...
she gave me some beautiful Kaffe Fassett fabric a few years ago so time to use them I think...
The weather has turned chilly here this last few days and yesterday we lite the fire for the first time this winter and I have had it ticking over all day today... I HATE THE COLD... but I love rugging up and I love fires and I love lots of rugs on the bed...

ReplyDeleteYour red/grey quilt is really fantastic. Big kiss.
Hello Tarnyia,
ReplyDeleteJust love the 21st quilt, you will have to add a extra photo to the back of it though-the one of him drinking from a pink boot.
Happy days.
