It's Been A Busy Week Around Here...
Firstly we had goat mustering...
with these
and using this
to aerial muster and let the people on the motorbikes know where they need to go
to round these up
dirty stinking big rangeland goats
no nannies this time just billies and we managed to muster near on 1000 of them...
they destroy the countryside so much... a sheep or a cow just munch what they see
but these buggers trample and pull down bushes and trees and dig the plants out...
and seeing the weather is cooler this week 30 to 34 is expected... time to do some hard gardening...
hubby got the trailer for me before he headed off for a few days ''dogging'' (dingo trapping and please no negative comments on this)
first to tackle the two big beds out the front of the house...
trimming and pulling up of dead or going to died plants...
filled the trailer in no time at all
and still had more to go into it... but that will have to wait until the trailer is emptied...
which hubby will do when he gets home as he takes it away into the bush so that seed gets trapped in it for ''regeneration'' when it rains...
and of course when you are tackling bougainvillea there is always an injury...
somewhere in there is a very long thorn which will just have to stay there until it gets pussy and can be squeezed out...
and
today it is red, sore and swollen and stopping me from hand sewing but not machine sewing...
but hey look how neat and tidy my beds are now...
all clean and trimmed...
and this morning I had two friends helping load the second pile into the trailer...
Lucy and her lamb LouLou...
