Just can't show you yet hahahaha...
plenty of sewing is happening though...
I am working on a secret swap and have nearly finished that and hoping to have it in the mail this Thursday my local town day of shopping and getting mail...
I am also working on a mug rug for a swap which I am half way through and I will be able to show you that one when finished... still waiting for my friend to receive her parcel before I can show the the ''sneak peak'' from last post...
she lives in Canada so hopefully this week she will receive her surprise....
I have been working on a ''round robin'' that I was doing with a group of ladies on an applique site... the site is no longer as the lady running it closed it down leaving us all gobsmacked and events still running... so those of us doing the round robin are still trying to keep in contact and get them finished and back to their owners... I don't have a photo saved on my computer of the first one I add a row to
here is the second one... the theme is ''garden tea party'' to this RR I added the cup cakes and words and the leaves to the centre as the owner did ask if someone wanted to could they... plus the vines was coming up so I thought the leaves would secure it more...
this one is still in Australia in Victoria then it will head home to Canada...
this one is from group two which I am not in the site owner was to get this one but she still hasn't pasted on two other so we have bypassed her...
this lady who owns this lives in Australia and she was hoping to stay with more of a garden theme...
I decided to use the same colours in the yellow pansy for my round and chose to do sunflowers all the way around.... only problem I have run out of heat and bond hahaha and I have one side left to do... not to worry I have some on the way... I just love mail order...
our weather has been ridiculous this weekend... Friday was 29, yesterday was 31 and today we are expecting 30???? on Thursday it was 18????? and on Monday it will be going back to 19??? far to early for the warm weather to start which will only wake up the snakes...........
anyway the warmer days have woken up the lawns and they needed mowing...
the front lawn...
the side lawn... pool side...
the lawn out the back...
all looking lovely and neat... mowing lawns is hubby's pet hate...
The RR's look great... such a shame you had a pull out and then another who didn't fulfill... but the rest of you are doing great.... we have gone to freezing weather this weekend - friday was really bad .... your garden looks nice and neat... we did mowing yesterday.... dusty!!

ReplyDeleteThe RR are looking lovely and so nice you were able to keep going after the organiser pulled out.
ReplyDeleteYour yards are looking very nice..
I need to mow but I am busy root picking after knocking down Black Wattle.
RR is looking great. I am happy for the slitheries to stay asleep so I can enjoy my walks in the bush for a while longer.
ReplyDeleteRRs can be a bother if people play up. These tops are looking great though. Your gardens are also looking great, this winter warnth suits everyone.
