Ooops I Did It Again and Again and Again and Again...

That's right not once or twice but four times 

I went to Spotlight in just a matter of a couple of weeks and bought wool

 but in saying that I have used some of it...

 a rug for family friends little fella who was turning three

 and the start of some Granny Squares

 just because... there are 130 starters

 someone came for a sleep over...

on the floor with quilts naked hahahahaha

that was just after his bath and he said that is where he was sleeping...

This Happened Yesterday...

Yesterday was Perth's coldest in 4 years...

this is what we woke up to

 my poor herbs and vegies...

 the lawn was very crunchy

 ice was on everything

 once the sun was up things started to thaw

and

the day ended up quite nice...

On My Walk...

While collecting kindling

our first lemons

 the vegie garden is doing extremely well

 even my potted bulbs are coping

 with all the rain...

Still Getting Birthday Love...

These sunshine yellows came from Simone

 this parcel of squishy was from Dzintra

 and look what it contained...

 so much goodness in one little parcel...

Thank you Simone and Dzintra for making my birthday special 

and last a little longer xxx

 these two opened up this week,

how HUGE are they

and just beautiful...

 there is a lot of this happening at the moment

and

 a lot of this, 

as it is too freakin cold outside to even think of doing anything else...

 I had some left over bits from projects, next best thing... 

sew them together, quilt them, make binding

 and make some mug rugs.

 and a book bag for Grandie no1 for his Thomas books,

that go everywhere (plus his Wiggles one)
