A Birthday Present For My Little Sister...
This past week I have been finishing the quilt for my sister's 40th birthday... it was in October and I was snowed under with a couple of other things... you know family they just get in the way of your sewing sometimes hehehe...
anyway it's quilted and the binding added...
And you know I always seem to do a dark binding and I have no idea why so this time I used the yellow and I am very happy with this... I noticed Cathy at Cabbage Quilts always uses a funky binding and gee it looks fantastic... I think I will be copying her from now on hehehe....

Lisa has blues and purples in her bedroom with a touch of yellow here and there... the colours have come together really well...
This is the biggest quilt I have made... not sure of the measurements... it fits a queen size bed and hangs down about 16 inches either side... I must say ''I love it and am very happy with the finish''...

This week I have made 14 bottles of tomato sauce... the goal once again is to make 52 bottles one for each week of the year... so keep producing tomato bushes as son is coming home for Xmas and he lovvvvvvvvvveeesssss Mum's tomato sauce...

I am off to Perth this week to help my daughter and her partner move into there new house that they get the keys for today...
very exciting...
we have to clean the rental and hand the keys back for that which we are going to be very glad of as the rental company have been a pain to deal with this past 2 1/2 yrs...
