In The Kitchen...
The day started off quite chilly here... and I know for some of you our cold is NOTHING like what you get
but
I DISLIKE the cold and DO NOT like to feel the slightest bit of cold...
if I get cold in the morning that chill stays with me all day...
YEP I am a sook...
This morning I decided to make some Banana Bread to get the chill out of the kitchen...
Can you smell them mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Banana Bread
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
125g butter melted
2 eggs
3 ripe banana's mashed
Pre-heat oven 180*... grease loaf pan... combine sifted flours, sugar, cinnamon in a large bowl... whisk butter and eggs together... stir in mashed banana... add this wet mix to the dry ingredients until well combined... spoon into prepared pan... bake for 40 - 50 mins or until a skewer comes out clean...

I do add walnuts to mine about 1/2 cup or more if you wish to...
Now back to some sewing...

  4. I'm not fond of the cold either...I don't think our houses in Queensland are designed for the cold we're too busy trying to keep cool. So i think if it is a wee bit chilly I feel it. thanks for the receipe my Hubby's favourite.
