We are finally growing so veggies
woohoo
beetroot
kale and carrots
mixed silverbeet
bok choi and lettuce
cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower
this is where I had been putting all the kitchen scraps while waiting to get organised
now I have tomatoes, rockmelon, capsicums
and a cucumber growing
some of them will die off as it gets cooler
and
I have been feeding some to my ''woolie chooks'' (pet sheep)
the herb bed
rosemary, sage, parsley, marjoram, thyme, oregano
and rhubarb...
I do have radishes and sugar snap peas in
but I mustn't of taken a photo of them...
so nice to be growing veggies again...
and my do they grow quickly and well down here...
when we came the soil was just like plain old sand, didn't hold any water...
now that we have add heaps of hay, sheep poo and other bought manure, sand to soil mix the ground is getting better... even the earthworms have come...
Wow! Beautiful vegies! They look so lush and healthy.

ReplyDeleteI bet you enjoy all the lovely greenery around.
Tarnyia all of that sounds like very clever gardening to me, well done - as I am not a gardener at all, I just like to sit back & admire the gardens of others, ha!
