The 1st House Pet Lamb 2009
Say hello to little "Miss Isla"... she is about two days old... and how sweet is she such a cute little face... Hubby just came and got me to take a photo... I have been looking for them for a couple of days as the mum "Issy" wasn't with my small "pet flock"... good indication that she was away having her lamb.
There are a couple more in my ''flock'' to lamb... I just love baby lambs.

Stitching Angel
This is the first project on offer at http://hugsnkisses.typepad.com/ for the ''I am a Stitcher's Angel'' swap... I really enjoyed making this little bag and I think the little stitchery of the rose makes the bag so much more personal... I chose green fabrics as that is my ''angel friends'' favourite colour... I see there is another pattern up for the swap.

Woohoo... the start of my ''little baskets''

Ten little baskets started a lot more to come... 5 a week 20 a month... the challenge begins. I think they are quite cute and they don't take to long by machine... I am using satin stitch.
Here are about 60 odd cut out with heat and bond fusing on the back.
The ''stack'' all cut... 5 1/2 in squares... I think there are about 220 in this pile. The other girls have started and their colour choices are fantastic... red and white... cream backgrounds...

Do Like My Swap Cushion?
This my swap cushion that I have made for my ''swap partner Bobbie''... over at Bobbie's site www.thefibreartpostcardcottage.com/forum.htm it is a small Aussie site... each swapper had to send to their partner one fat quarter and five scraps of fabric... I am very pleased with how the finished cushion turned out... hope Bobbie likes it to.

Now to get back to the sewing machine and do a bit of catch up... I spent a week in Queensland with my beautiful sister... very very relaxing and I even had a ''hot stone massage'' oh how great that feels... I could have one of those everyday.

We have also been busy this past couple of weeks with tourist buses and another one due next week...

Well off to the sewing machine.
