Another Reason I Have Been Extremely Busy......

Foxes at Lower Wondinong have had me busy

and those pesky pinwheels... but that all came to a screaming holt

 because i was woken up at 4.30 Monday morning the 15th June to

''Mum we need to go to the hospital"...

someone decided to come 4 weeks early and couldn't wait for his scheduled c-section?

 he spent 5 days in Neo

I had the greatest pleasure of being in the theatre for his birth 

as Dad was stuck out on an oil rig 100 kms off Karratha!

Having cuddles with Yaya at home.... 

so the last couple of weeks have been hectic

and having a 2yr 24/7 is hard work when you haven't done it for a few years...

plus he got sick and needed a trip to the doctors...

everyone is now home and all the men are home

and thank gawd for Aunty RaRa who drove down in the early morning to the hospital 

to look after Big Man

while Mummy and Yaya had a job to do ....

My How Time Flies....

But I have been extremely busy... extremely...

Our big boy celebrated his 2nd birthday a few weeks ago

 he just loves bubbles

 and Yaya must do them with him at every opportunity

 so while everyone was out the back celebrating

Yaya and Aunty Kylee

went out the front with bubbles and the camera...

 can't believe he is two...

I made him a new rug for his new room and new bed

 he has needed it in the weather Perth has been having...

The Craft Fair....

Yep I did I finally made it to a Perth Bloggers Meet...

I even put my "big girls blouse on" and drove in the city... then a deep release of breathe once outta there and home hahaha...

It was soooo nice to put names to faces and meet some new people... thank you to Anthea for organising the meet...

Anzac's was a big part of this years show

 loved these mini's

 there was another display of ANZAC'S but you weren't allowed to take photos of that display...

 that was eerie walking through there but a good eerie...

these next quilt are a few that I liked

 I loved this one for the free motion haunted houses

 this one was huge

 loved the work in this

 admired the needle turn and some piece were so weeny

 this was awesome

 this one was made with embroidered doilies and quite big

must of taken years of collecting them

 loved the work in this one... plus I know the lady

 loved the free motion and use of bling

 this was the winner of the "something blue" challenge... 

I think it was Aussie themed too

 there were so many little pieces of fabric in this 

and all free motioned

just awesome

 hahaha I know this lady Jan-Maree very good likeness has been captured here

 I liked the mix of this one...

there were many more I could have taken...

I was on the look out for a cot quilt pattern

this one I found at Kids Quilts stand... my daughter liked it to

 so it was purchased... plus a couple of others...

and a new cutter... I am finding my fingers are aching a little so I need one that doesn't need holding in... a bit of arthritis I think boo hoo..

new computer and all set up, most things transferred over...

felt like our lives had been turn upside down... it seems we can't live with out these computers in our lives anymore...

my rose bushes have been producing some wonderful blooms the past few weeks, so of course they have been picked and displayed around the house... I have shared a few too

I purchased another Daniel Morcombe rose bush for my grandson Judd

I had the pleasure of looking after him for a few hours a couple of weeks ago

while Mum had a much wanted/needed hair appointment...

he was an angel... only had to take him to Mum once to be fed... we walked around the shopping centre for a few hours window shopping and pending... no fabric though.

I have got those knitting needles out to... a bit rusty I am... but there is a wonderful local lady who is helping me with knitting in a round... a very new technique for me...... BUT....

look what I made....

so then..... I did this....

pretty impressive hey? well I think so hahaha and I have more loaded on the needles now...

My big boy needed some place mats... he loves his animals and love making their sounds

started a new quilt for a family friends little man... stay tuned for that one.

plenty of tree trimming going on

plus plenty of leaf raking... ho hum... just another 5 plus acres to rake

I have been playing with my ''scrappy around the world"

still need to sew them together

and

decide if I need more blocks ( psstt... I have a heap of crap strips)

trying my hand at bandanna bibs

might try and sell a few and a few other items

some crocheting has been happening...

why do they call it a ''controlled prescribed burn"???

we clearly its not.... then again yesterday... and this time the sun was completely blocked out

and turned a brilliant red.... controlled my arse!!!

I got to spend Mother's Day with this little man...

so I ain't been slack... just missing but active and missing you all
