A Finish and A Start...

I have finally finished quilting my ''string scrap buster quilt'' and I am so happy with it...
doesn't it look so pretty nestled among the bougainvillea
 rustic bush props (hahaha)

I love the jewel stone effect that happens with this pattern...
I just quilted in the ditch in a grid fashion... later on I am thinking that I may do a hand stitch in the white with a contrast perle cotton that will depend on what room it ends up in... the quilt measures 86 x 90 inches and will fit on my white brass bed
and this is the next project to be finished... I started this on IFQ (international friendship quilters) a few years ago... it will be a table cloth for me...

  8. I love your string quilt. So pretty and cheerful. I made one a while back and it was so fun to do. I'm sure all my fabrics are different from yours and yet it still looks just like yours.
