The Wedding...

Well we have had wedding... last weekend...

and it was just wonderful to see so many young people having such a great time at the reception...

even though it rained and rained and rained for the ceremony and was freezing...

so much for getting our hair done too hahahaha

Our eldest daughter was Matron of Honour

 but I wanted to show you how gorgeous her dress was

both girls have now used it for their wishing well.

Sending and Receiving and Perfection...

I have been in a "Runner Swap"

this year and I think it has gone quite well especially on my receiving end..

this is the runner I received and it couldn't be more perfect for my new home.

 we have a new addition to the flock

 she is about an hour old in these photo's

 and

I had the greatest pleasure in looking after this little man last weekend...

we stayed in a hotel in Geraldton as his Mum was part of a bridal party...

now who would have thought that this little fella has had major surgery a few weeks ago.

Oh and he was meant to be asleep...

So Much Has Been Happening...

Life is a bit of a roller coaster here at the moment.

MIL had her open heart surgery 3 weeks ago on a Tuesday and she came through the op...

it has been a very hard battle for her and a very slow one too... even though the valves have been replaced and fixed and the blood is now flowing the right way... her heart was very damaged and just not able to move the fluid from around her body so her recovery is going to be a long one... but in saying that she is doing well and doing her best with the rehab... hopefully she will have only another week or so and she will be able to go home... she will need low care for a while...

that same week on the Thursday our little grandson had his major surgery so we were back and forth from one hospital to another... we were exhausted...

the little fella came through his op and now has two very big scars about 2 1/2 inches each and on a 12 week old they are huge... one on his back, right side and one above his doodle... he had the 2nd op this week on Wednesday to remove a stent in his kidney/bladder tube... he is home and hopefully that is the end of his troubles now.

we are getting a patio built from the house to the pool 

and it should be done well and truly before the summer

everyone is very happy...

A Finish... A Cleansing... A Newbie...

Just as we moved I finished the Granny Square Rug

 I made it for my sons girlfriend... 

she like me feels the cold and she needed something that was just hers

and she loved it...

 The first weekend that we were at the new place... well the 2nd day

the boys (2 son-in-laws and son) decided that we needed to do a cleansing for the block.....

they found and old scarecrow in a rubbish pile

 added some packing boxes and fallen branches from around...

 did a little dance

 even the youngest male got involved...

 we did bring four pet sheep with us to help with the weeds

and I was hoping that one or two of the would be expecting

and we had our first new addition...

 Ally (the albino)

 she is so white compared to how they normally get so red

from the outback red dirt...

I am back on line

I have moved

I am nearly unpacked

I am so happy

I am so exhausted too

hahahahaha

we have been in our new place just over 3 weeks

I left the station on a Friday with 3 cats doped up to their eye balls and not very impressed at all, 

so  I could pick the keys up...

truck arrived 8 am Saturday morning Hubby at lunchtime with the 2 dogs

we fell into bed that night only to be woken up at 12.15 that Hubby's Mum was in an ambulance on the way to hospital with heart failure..................

she is now scheduled for open heart surgery in the next 3 weeks.... 

plus we have our little grandie due for his op in a couple of weeks... he is having major kidney surgery at 12 weeks old... poor little man.

its all happening

at least we are so much closer now to deal with it all...

40 mins instead of 7 hours...
