Flowers In The Garden...

 I had a box of Ranunculi that I have had for a couple of years... waiting for the sale of the station ... 

do I plant them or take them with me

 well the station did sell and the box came withe me to the new place

 and they are flowering beautifully

 we have been here just over a year now

the garden is thriving with the plants we have put in...

Hubby has just finished the paving off between the pool and patio

and

did he have some cutting of pavers to do... 

a very wonky job was done around the pool by the previous owners.

next job is ''building a wall along the garden beds"... 

this will keep the beds neater and the lawn tidier...

New Life...

that's right ''new life'' to these

 they cost me $30 for the four of them

I used 3...

I added a bit of this 

(the green can wouldn't work boo hoo)

 and got this

 used some blocks I had hidden away

 added ties to them

 as someone would probably try and pinch them!!!

 not bad

 for a couple of days playing...

now that I have new glasses I can get back to my secret hand sewing...

Time Just Flies By...

I can't believe it is nearly the end of August

and

my posts seems to get longer in between (oops)

I did read somewhere last week that there was only 18 Thursdays until Christmas!!!!! 

well today is Thursday so now there must be only 17!!!!!!!

I have been busy doing "stuff" and does this puppy keep me on my toes... 

he is more of a handle full than my 15 month old Grandson and messier.......

My girlfriend had a birthday recently and she loves my mug rugs and did request some a while back if I had time and any theme... 

so for her birthday I made these for her...

 and yes she is a Hawthorn supporter.

 I also use Michelle's "initial" embroidery pattern.

 the Flowering Plum... well that's what we think it is hahaha... 

lost all its leaves and is now blossoming

it is so pretty... I did give it a little trim to keep its shape...

Even though I am not posting I am checking you all out each day :)

OOPS....

WOW I can't believe it is over a month since I posted...

 lots has been happening some good and some not so!

I did do the Friday Night With Friends which was some patchwork and some crocheting...

The past month has been up and down... 

we woke up to find one of our pet sheep had been badly mauled by a local dog... 

Poor Ivy had to be put down... the Ranger has a fair idea which dog did it but with no proof???? 

so there are now motion cameras set up around our boundary fence by the Ranger... the other 5 sheep are a little flighty with sudden movements now...

 here they are enjoying the green feed before that awful attack.

 we had to put our very old dog Sandy 

down last weekend he was 15, it had just all got too much for him this last month... 

my health is playing up...

so as you can see a bad run...

but we have a lot to be thankful for...

walking the boundary with our other Border Collie Baz...

 Baz having a rest... he is a sook.

 the new puppy has arrived... 

we had his sister for a couple of days before she went off to her new home...

 exhausted
