Yep I am Back...

Yes I am back... but I have been here watching you all too... 

not leaving any comment though... 

had a bit of turbulence in my life that I needed to sort and get my head around... all good now...

I have a bit to show as I haven't been slack (maybe a little)

 this quilt was finally finished and delivered for our family friends little fellas 1st birthday

 even had some tags made ''MamaYaya"

 the citrus trees smelt AWESOME 

 while in flower... nothing like an orange blossom

 the roses had been beautiful

 all three Daniel Morcombe bushes have had flowers

 the Fairies now live in my garden

 the Summer veggie garden has been very prolific 

 tomatoes and cucumbers coming out our ears

 even an abundance of zucchinis... so pickles were made

 the rock melons have now started

 I now have about 40 bottles of tomato sauce in the pantry cupboard

 we have about 5 little apples growing... there were more but the birds like them 

and they now have netting over them... fingers crossed we get at least one to taste.

have been spending time with these three munchkins

 Jensen is now 2 1/2 and quite the dancer

 Judd turned one a couple of days ago... he keeps us all on our toes

Lawson has grown so much and is now attempting to crawl

Friday Night With Friends...

This was my achievement with FNWF

I decided to make a cushion out of my Swoon pattern

to see how it would look...

 bit of cutting out to be done

 my end result and off to bed...

 On Saturday while The Boarder watched the AFL match I sewed...

I used some orange thread and machine stitched 1/4 on both sides of the seams..

turned out ok I think and makes my lounge chair a little brighter...

Big Arse Shed...

Yep its happening... The Boarders long awaited shed is happening... 

a little money saving, then a little battle with the Shire and woohoo

 it is huge inside

 today is floor pouring day

I have been a little house bound this week...

but I think someone will be doing a little happy dance when he gets home...

Little Judd had a photo shoot this week

 beautiful porcelain skin and big blue eyes...

 weeny man Lawson was having a chat with me

and I though lets record it.... well listen to him!

Guilty...

Are you guilty of this?

 Yes there is a chair under there! A chair that came with us from the station that was my FIL's that he had a "Grandad Nap" in every afternoon... so I claimed it for my sewing room...

 so that I could sit in it and stitch or crochet under my ''quilter lamp".............

wellllllll I can actually say that has never ever happened in 2 years!!!

so a little action was needed...

DD1 bought me some gorgeous fabrics when she went to Bali about 5 or so years ago... 

last year I washed and ironed them to make some pants and...... that's were it stopped... 

but during the week I made..........

 two pairs of comfy pants and sewed some of the other fabrics into sarongs........

 DD2 purchased some fabric's from Spoonflower for wraps for her new baby... well Lawson is 13 weeks old tomorrow... I have backed them with flannel and putt a binding around them... they are so soft and will have a 101 uses... lucky Lawson is still little and the weather is still cool...

 another piece was made into a large cradle sheet...

 fresh from the garden...

 home alone Friday night... mini pedi... and a change of colour... Aubergine...

 yesterdays cuddles with this Big Man

 still guilty but looking a little less piled high....
