A Finish....
These pretties should have been on my
''things to finish in 2010" but i forgot about them....
I did the stitcheries last year as a BOM with IFQ and I have had them pinned in a plastic zip bag on my sewing room wall...
time to do something with them

So I made pillow cases... all my blocks have been stitched with variegated DMC embroidery thread as at the time I had no idea what I would do with them...
the pattern was given out for a wall hanging at the end...
these will be so much more useful I think especially when they will be sitting up on my bed....

Those blocks are lovely and they look great as a cushion - much nicer than a plastic bag on the wall!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting about the feed dogs .... I guess we all find our own best ways of doing things....
