Birdie Stitches....
I have been behind in my Birdie Stitches BOM from Little Miss Shabby
but I have caught up to block 8...
this is block 6
and I have decided that I am going to use this one as part of my label on the back of the finished quilt...
and I am working on another to replace this one in the quilt...
block 7...
block 8...
still using my Amy Butler fabrics... trying to decide what colour to use for the sashing... any idea's???
Gorgeous blocks and I love the Amy Butler fabrics, I usually suggest navy blue for sashing if I'm asked but this one is screaming chocolate.
ReplyDeleteI love the Amy Butler Line... I am not very good with sashing. For this I think I would find one that is close to the main colour used in the stitchery. Then that way it will pull the stitchery out more when you add the sashing.
ReplyDeleteAs well what a great Idea for Block 6 as your label. That is so great and I love the blocks - all of them
very cute stitcheries. will make a lovely quilt
ReplyDeleteLime Green !!!! I say ........
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. I do love a cute little birdie.
ReplyDeleteLove you stitcheries - I haven't seen this pattern before, will have to google it ... or wait til you've put it all together to see what it looks like finished!

ReplyDeleteLove your stitchery's and the Amy Butler fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI like either the olive green or pink in the fabric for sashing.

ReplyDeleteYou blocks are gorgeous. Well you know me I would pull the purple out for sashing. I love how your blocks look.
