Two Swaps...
These are the mosaic blocks that my friend Ann from Canada has made me... mmm not sure what happened with the top block as it is all in beautiful lime green with a touch of yellow... might have been to close with the flash or maybe it was the light through the window... I now have 17 of these blocks time to make a decision as to what I will do with them seeing the swap is coming to an end... I do think it would make a great table cloth for my outside table ''bright and welcoming''....
and seeing I spent yesterday washing the veranda and trimming plants and fixing up pots and washing garden furniture all ready for the summer... with no rain in these parts for months the ground is very dry so the red dust just blows everywhere and on everything...

Over at IFQ I have joined the "Hexie Swap"... these are a little bigger than the normal hexie and have batting... for my first hexie I have used some of the charm squares that I have collected over the years and this is what I will probable keep doing with this swap but I have also decided.....
That I will do a little stitching on them to help them sit flatter and make them more pretty... it looks a little boring to be....

Evening Primrose...

These are the ones the ones outside my sewing room... so pretty and pink with a few petunia's in there...

  5. It is weird how the camera can change colours when you use a flash, but you can't always be outside. Lovely blocks.
