Woe Is Me...
feeling blue I am... feeling like crap I am...
I have the flu and I hate having a cold of any sore in the summer all you want to do is curl up somewhere but it's too hot to....
poor me... not sleeping... sore throat... nose running... eyes weeping
Oh and lets not forget the peeing of ones self when we sneeze...
dam those pregnancies that weakened my muscles
Ok whinge is over... what to do when feeling so YUCK????
SEW of course...
two mug rugs from made from bits left over from various projects...
these will go to me two fellow craft ladies in town with some homemade cookies or if still feeling crappy a box of chocolates...
 and four ''Blankets of  Love"...

Cheryll has been making these for quite awhile for her local hospital and it got me thinking that maybe there is a need here in WA so I made a couple of enquiries... not only do maternity hospitals need the blankets the state children's hospital does as well and small cot quilts are needed... so I have started a box and once I have a few in it I will do a delivery...

and
for the month of December my QBSA is Michell from New Zealand...
Michell wished for either a Pinwheel block or a Sawtooth blocks in Civil War fabric's or Reproduction fabrics... this is my block to her...
and Jan-Maree is always so busy making quilts for charity so I have started some nine patches for her in pretty purples...
so this is what I did yesterday from 12.30am as I couldn't sleep... I did go back to bed about 7.30am until 9.30am then started sewing again... hopefully today is a better day...

  2. oh so sorry to hear that you are not well - that sucks as my boys would say. hopefully you will have it kicked in time for Christmas! Lovely mug rugs - very pretty colours. and gorgeous baby quilts. i knew hospitals needed quilts of love, didn't know they needed cot quilts as well. Will store that away from future info for when i have finished making quilts for soldiers. Happy stitching and speedy recovery.
